Second meeting of European World Heritage Associations was held in Segovia

On October 20-21, 2016, Second meeting of European World Heritage Associations organized by UNESCO World Heritage Center and European World Heritage Associations was held in Segovia, Spain.  The issues related to the safeguarding and promotion of cultural heritage, good practices of the states were discussed during the meeting. National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO was represented at the event. The participants were informed about the cultural heritage of the Republic of Azerbaijan included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and the measures taken by the Government in the direction of the protection of the cultural heritage of the country.
