In the UN, only 6 languages are allowed for speaking. As the Turkic world, we should strive for the acceptance of the Turkic language, which covers a large geographical area, as the 7th official language of the UN.

AZERTAC news reports that Professor Ojal Oghuz, the president of the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO, spoke at an international conference hosted by ADA University on "Studying and Preserving the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World - From the Perspective of UNESCO."

Professor Ojal Oghuz said: "I believe that Turkic-speaking peoples should be able to communicate without needing any translators. The Turkic nation is like a great oak tree, and steps must be taken to make this tree even bigger. Because strength comes from unity, and we must do our best to possess that strength."

It should be noted that the international conference was organized jointly by the National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO, the International Turkic Academy, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the National Commission of Turkey for UNESCO, along with the Institute of Development and Diplomacy of ADA University.
