Azerbaijan`s FM: Armenia's continued provocations are threat to peace efforts

Despite Azerbaijan’s efforts, military and political provocations by Armenia continue to be a threat to the reconstruction work and peace efforts, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov said in a meeting with UNESCO Executive Board Chairperson Tamara Rastovac Siamashvili and Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences, Gabriela Ramos.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov gave insight into the current situation in the region, as well as the large-scale restoration and reconstruction works carried out by Azerbaijan in the liberated territories, the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and landmines threat.

The sides also exchanged views on topical issues on the current agenda of cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNESCO, as well as initiatives put forward by Azerbaijan, and regional issues.
