16 November is the International Day for Tolerance. International Day for Tolerance was established in 1995 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of UNESCO. The purpose of establishing this day is to call everyone in the world to live as good neighbors, showing tolerance to each other, as stated in the charter of the organization. Azerbaijan is now one of the few countries in the world where all nations, all peoples, all religions live as one family.
On this occasion, the staff of the National Library of Azerbaijan has prepared a virtual exhibition entitled "International Day for Tolerance".
The library informed AZERTAG about that books on the relevant subject and articles published in periodicals are displayed at the exhibition.
