Farid Gayibov elected as vice-chairman of International Convention against Doping in Sport

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov has been unanimously elected as a vice-chairman of the International Convention against Doping in Sport on the sidelines of the Conference of Parties (COP) to the International Convention against Doping in Sport held at UNESCO Headquarters, in Paris.

The member states and the organization highly praised Azerbaijan`s contributions in sport, including the hosting of the 7th International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sport in Baku this June, as well as the country’s active participation in a number of UNESCO projects and its contribution to the organization in general.
