11th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage was held in Ethiopia

On November 28- December 2, the 11 th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding pf the Intangible Cultural Heritage was held in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia. “Flatbread making and sharing culture: Lavash, Katyrma, Jupka, Yufka” multinational nomination presented by Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Moreover, several Member States joined the “Novruz, Nowrouz, Nooruz, Navruz, Nauroz, Nevruz” multinational nomination which was inscribed on the Representative List in 2009, namely, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
