The National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO held its annual meeting

The annual meeting of the National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO was held on December 26, 2018. The Chairman of the National Commission, Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov opened the meeting. Minister Elmar Mammadyarov stressed the exceptional services of the First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva in further developing Azerbaijan-UNESCO relations.

Secretary-General of the National Commission, Ambassador-at-Large, Elnur Sultanov gave detailed information on the current activities and future plans of the National Commission.

Then, Members of the National Commission had a fruitful exchange of views on the current state and future perspective of cooperation with UNESCO.
