Alim Gasimov was awarded the International Music Council-UNESCO Music Prize in 1999.
Firanghiz Ali-zadeh was nominated UNESCO Artist for Peace in 2008.
Tahir Salahov was awarded UNESCO Gold medal of “Picasso” for his contributions to the world cultural heritage. The award was presented to him by UNESCO Director-General Koichiro Matsuura on March 19, 2009.
