International Forum “Protection of Humanity –Imperative for Sustainable Development” was held in Kazan

On September 14-16, 2016, International Forum titled “Protection of Humanity –Imperative for Sustainable Development” was held in Kazan, Russian Federation. The forum was co-organized by UNESCO and the National Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counselor Mr. Mintimer Shaymiyev, Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Shamil Gafarov, Minister of Culture Mr. Ayrat Sibagatullin, President of the Academy of Sciences Mr. Makzum Salakhov, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Ms Alexandra Ochirova, representatives of the National Commissions for UNESCO of Azerbaijan and Russia, representatives of Permanent Delegations, and other officials took part in the event.

Counselor of the National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO Ms. Gulnara Aghalarova addressed the participants of the round table on the subject of “System of values of the modern society: toward preparation of common meanings”.
