UNESCO invites representatives of International Sports Press Association to attend MINEPS VII in Baku

UNESCO's Executive Officer for Sport Philipp Muller-Wirth has invited the representatives of International Sports Press Association (AIPS) national associations to attend the 7th International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sport (MINEPS VII) that will take place in Baku on June 26-29, 2023.

During the 85th Congress of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) held in Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, the participants also heard the presentation by Philipp Muller-Wirth.

He briefed the participants about the MINEPS VII which is a global conference engaging governments, athletes, private sector, and other stakeholders to increase investment in sport, improve sport practices, foster quality physical education, and magnify the positive impact of sport on health, society and the economy.

First Vice President of Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Association (AIJA), member of the AIPS Europe Executive Committee Nargiz Mahmudzade expressed gratitude to the UNESCO representative for the presentation.

The AIPS congress will run until May 12.
