AZERTAC reports that Simona-Mirela Miculescu, the President of the UNESCO General Conference, said this during a video address at the international conference held in Baku on "Studying and Preserving the Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World - From the Perspective of UNESCO."

In the video address, it was noted that the preservation of cultural heritage contributes to continuous and multifaceted development, as well as to the advancement of relations between countries: "Relevant standards have been adopted by member states. All of this is aimed at preserving our cultural heritage, and your efforts in this direction are commendable. We understand that we serve global cultural interests and must build our future on this basis. We must also do this to build our own future. Collaboration in these areas will also be beneficial for our inclusive development."

It should be noted that the international conference was organized jointly by the National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO, the International Turkic Academy, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, the National Commission of Turkey for UNESCO, along with the Institute of Development and Diplomacy of ADA University.
