The 219th session of UNESCO's Executive Board is ongoing at the organization's headquarters in Paris.

AZERTAC reports that within the framework of the 219th session of UNESCO, a meeting of national commissions of member countries has been held. At the meeting, Seymur Fataliyev, the Secretary-General of the National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO, represented our country.

During the meeting, information was provided about the projects implemented by national commissions of member countries. The National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO continues its successful activities in all priority areas of the organization. Additionally, Azerbaijan's National Commission actively participates in the development of relations with national commissions of member countries within UNESCO, as well as in joint programs and research activities.

Azerbaijan, which will be a member of the Executive Council until 2025, has established extensive relations with the organization in the fields of culture, education, science, information and communication, and has become an influential member of the UNESCO family and a donor state.

It should be noted that the 219th session of the UNESCO Executive Council will continue until March 27.
