On December 28th, a conference under the theme “Multiculturalism and human rights, equality, cooperation, development” dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the restoration of the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan and 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Ombudsman Institution was held in Baku.
The event was organized by the Commissioner for Human Rights with the support of the Azerbaijan National Commission for UNESCO.
Commissioner for Human Rights Elmira Suleymanova, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov, Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev, Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova and other officials participated and spoke at the conference.
