Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to UNESCO Ambassador Elman Abdullayev presented his credentials to Director General of UNESCO Audrey Azoulay.
The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to UNESCO, Ambassador Elman Abdullayev, met with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay at the Organization's headquarters in Paris.
The Director-General of UNESCO has accepted the credentials of the Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the organization.
Then the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and UNESCO were discussed. Noting the long-term and productive relations between Azerbaijan and UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay praised the country's contribution to the Organization in various fields.
Wishing this cooperation to continue, the Director General wished Ambassador Abdullayev success in his new mission.
Touching upon Azerbaijan-UNESCO cooperation, Abdullayev stressed the importance of establishing equal relations with all member states within the Organization.
