The 10th anniversary of the inscription of Azerbaijan’s mugham on the UNESCO list was celebrated in Berlin

A concert dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the inscription of Azerbaijan’s mugham on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage was held with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Berlin, the National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Ramin Hasanov briefed participants about the activities done for the global promotion of Azerbaijan mugam’s peculiarity, history, evolution and, in particular, the activities carried out by Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Then a concert program was performed by the Mugham Trio. The singer accompanied Gulnar Gudretli, Sahib Pashazade (taran) and Togrul Asadullayev (kamancha).
